Meet Kate Chapman
Before starting her own design business in 2018, Kate Chapman trained under esteemed designers Lindsay Coral Harper and Lynde Easterlin Interiors.
Chapman grew up on the North Shore of Long Island. Prior to establishing design roots, Kate enjoyed a successful career in advertising at Coastal Living, The Wall Street Journal, and most recently, as an Account Director at Luxe Interiors & Design Magazine. While working in the advertising industry, she always had an observant eye for beautiful textiles, color, the aesthetics of space, and the many touches that could uniquely transform the feel of a room. She was inspired by materials, custom furnishings, and the creation of her own special spaces.
Now, Founder and Principal of Baxter Design, Kate Chapman shares her admiration for tradition coupled with almost two decades of New York experience giving her a fresh perspective on how to create timeless interiors.
